Organized by the Saudi Society for Medical Genetics (SSMG) in collaboration with the Prince Salman Hospital of the Armed Forces Tabuk represented in management training and scholarship , the Fourth Conference of Medical Genetics entitled ( Symposium important topics in genetic metabolic diseases ) . This is the fourth conference held by the SSMG, where three previous conferences were organized in Jeddah , Madinah and Jizan and this is the first time that the event has been held in Tabuk. The conference was held with the participation of speakers from within the Kingdom , namely Dr. Zuhair Rahbeeni, consultant genetic diseases at King Faisal Hospital Specialist Dr. Majed A. Alfadhel, consultant genetic diseases in King Abdulaziz Medical City , National Guard , and Dr. Fuad Al-Mutairi, consultant genetic diseases at Prince Sultan Military Medical City, Riyadh and more than 200 participants from within and outside the region. This conference was excellent opportunity for professionals and workers in the medical field in the region for the most important recent updates in this area, such as developments in early screening for metabolic diseases in newborns and their clinical treatment and new medical treatment and food for the spectra of various metabolic diseases . Note that the conference accredited by 8 CME hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
